Balalaika — New Week, New Rating

This weeks rating system has a deeply cultural inspiration, the balalaika. No, it’s not a drunk’s failed attempt at making a guitar, it is an old Russian musical instrument of debatable and mostly unknown origins. Okay, so maybe it is a drunken attempt at a guitar.

But as we learned last week, the balalaika can have a pretty badass side to it.

So enjoy a new week of rating the web’s best Russian videos.

That’s right, shredding and balalaika used in one sentence. This guy is the bastard child of Yngwie Malmsteen and Tchaikovsky. This is one of those things that just shouldn’t be…but the world is that much better because it is: making the balalaika cool is probably the key to world peace. We can now sit back and enjoy the tranquility.

Instead of rating just one video, we’ll just post a bunch to pleasure your eardrums and fry your brain.
